Redman Card Clothing Company

While at the flea market today in Kentucky, my mom spotted wool hand carders lying on a table at one of the booths.  She bought them for me.  On the top of the carders is the writing "Redman Card Clothing Company Lowell, Mass."  I checked on Google to see if I could find out anything about the company.  It's still in business today.  Originally opened in 1931, they spin cotton for clothing for women and children and wire of some kind.  If my wood hand carders are antique I'm not sure if I should use them.

I have a pair of cotton cards that have 'REDMAN CARD' stamped on the back. I would not hesitate using them if they are in good condition. I would like to find out more about the cards and where they are from.
